About Us

Our Story

It started with a question: Where will my child learn true Jewish values and become a strong student — right here in Tucson? The leadership of the Tucson Torah Center knew the answer couldn’t wait. So in 2023, they launched the first phase of Tucson Torah Day School, beginning with early childhood and elementary grades. This isn’t a side project. It’s a key piece of the larger vision behind TTC: strengthening a strong, vibrant, and lasting Jewish future for Tucson. We’ve brought together educators, parents, and community leaders to build something from the ground up— and families from across the spectrum are stepping up to help shape what comes next.

Our Mission

Tucson Torah Day School was created with one goal: To give Tucson’s Jewish families a school that reflects their values — without compromising on academic excellence, warmth, or community. We’re a new school, but our vision is big: a full preschool–8th grade education that blends Jewish studies, high-quality general studies, and a culture of kindness, curiosity, and personal growth.

Jewish Values
are Primary
We teach it, live it, and grow with it — at every level and for every student.

Our Team

Behind every classroom is a team that cares like family. From our core staff guiding the vision to the teachers and support staff working with students each day, TTDS is built by people who believe deeply in the power of Torah, education, and community.
